Not a month has gone by since my 18th birthday that I havn't read "Cosmo."
An especially great magazine for the '20 to 30 something' woman but a great read for all ladies, from teenagers to seniors. Trends and "coolness" in fashion and lifestyle are explored along with pertinent articles that are always either enlightening or shocking, but never dull. Cosmo is a friendly staple in my life.

Cosmopolitan (cosmo) first published in 1886. It's longevity is credited to it's constant evolving over the years. In it's infancy it had been known for works of fiction, and even for a brief foray into investigative journalism. It wasn't until 1965 under Helen Gurley Brown that the magazine truly came into it's own. It was the height of the sexual revolution and the cover of the magazine began to show a lot of cleavage. This trend continued over the years as the content of the articles began to examine topics formerly taboo of a mostly sexual nature. Cosmo today has continued along that theme as it made it's foray into the world of fashion and beauty advice. Generally aimed at women in their twenties or thirties who are single and have a career this magazine is loaded with great advice. Boyfriend advice, beauty and fashion advice even workplace advice, you can find it all in Cosmo.
